Production Process
A 35cm x 35cm block is hand-wrapped in natural calico material (unbleached cotton) and overprinted. The material print is available in three mounting styles:

Print Only
Backed with a thin sheet of MDF, a sawtooth hanger and protection pads are fixed to the rear so the print is ready for hanging.

Print with Painted MDF Mount
A block of 2.5cm thick MDF is hand-painted and mounted to the rear of the calico print. A sawtooth hanger and protection pads are fixed to the rear so the print is ready for hanging.

Print with Reclaimed Timber Frame
The frame is handmade using reclaimed antique Victorian roof timbers. The inside of the frame is hand-painted and the calico print is then mounted in the frame, and a hanging mechanism attached to the rear so it's ready for hanging. We purposefully retain any defects in the timber to add to the charm and character of the piece. These can include knot holes, nail holes, warps and water marks, so each artwork is totally unique.
