A solid square of Ash timber, hand-painted white, and then over-printed with distressed typography. The artwork is availble as a print only, or it can be packed in a natural jute hessian material and presented in a Coulson Macleod-branded gift box made from recycled cardboard. We also produce it framed in reclaimed timber. The perfect gift.

Production Process
The solid Ash timber is cut and sanded by hand before being hand-painted white and then over-printed with UV ink. A sawtooth hanger and protection pads are fixed to the reverse so it's ready to hang on a wall.

If you purchase the framed option the ash block is a larger 24cm x 24cm size. The frame is handmade using reclaimed antique Victorian roof timbers. The inside of the frame is hand-painted and the print is then mounted in the frame, and a hanging mechanism attached to the rear so it's ready for hanging. We purposefully retain any defects in the timber to add to the charm and character of the piece. These can include knot holes, nail holes, warps and water marks, so each artwork is totally unique.
