Returns - Bespoke Artwork
We regret that we cannot offer refunds for bespoke artwork.
Limited Edition Prints
Some of our artwork is limited edition. This means we will only print a specified number of each artwork. Each webpage displaying artwork will tell you how many the print is limited to. This figure may vary from collection to collection.
Coulson Macleod Limited Edition artwork comes with an official numbered, signed, and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
Open Edition Prints
Some of our art prints are open editions. However, they are still completely unique to us. No mass market stuff here. If one of our prints or collections is described as 'open edition' it means there is no limit to the number of reproductions or prints that can be made of the artwork.
Bespoke Prints
When you purchase a Coulson Macleod bespoke typography print, 'bespoke' means you get exactly what you want. With 25 years professional design experience and under our belts we will guide you through the process, offering advice and suggestions where appropriate, but ultimately the choice is yours:
-
You choose the style and size of frame, either from the standard options we offer, or produced to your own specific requirements
-
You choose the words and/or image.
-
You choose the colour or combination of colours.
-
You choose the typeface.
Resulting in a one-off piece of art that is entirely personal to you. No one else in the whole world will have exactly the same artwork hanging in their home.

Colour Variation
Different monitors and computer systems display colour differently and therefore the printed colours may vary slightly from those you see on screen. Also printed artwork is generally darker than it appears on a bright monitor screen. Please bear this in mind when ordering.

Canvas Care
Our canvas prints are of the very highest quality and are printed using pigmented inks that are UV stable and sealed with UV protecting varnish and, if looked after correctly, will last for many years. Typically this can be in excess of 75 to 100 years.
Here are a few suggestions to help you to look after your canvas:
-
Avoid handling as much as possible to prevent scuffs and scratching.
-
Avoid displaying in direct sunlight. Although UV stable inks and varnish are used, direct sunlight will reduce the lifespan of your canvas.
-
Avoid displaying your canvas in areas of extreme and fluctuating temperatures and humidity.
-
Never clean using a damp cloth, solvents, or cleaning fluids.
-
Should dust settle on your canvas then remove with a feather duster or use a soft brush to wipe while using a vacuum. Do not let the vacuum nozzle touch the canvas surface.
-
Avoid contact with moisture. Should any moisture come in contact with your canvas then dab gently with a dry, lint-free, cloth to remove and avoid wiping and rubbing.
-
Canvas is a natural product and will stretch over time. Your canvas will be framed onto high-quality double-laminated kiln-dried stretcher bars. Should your canvas appear to sag, these enable you to re-tension your canvas by carefully tapping the wedges.
