Coulson Macleod is a greeting card and giftware business based in the centre of Kettering and is looking for a Part-time Account Manager/Telesales to join our friendly team and help grow our business.

​

The ideal candidate must have previous experience and speak clearly; this is a telephone job after all. No mumbling allowed. Bonus points to anyone who knows and loves our brand.

Key Tasks

​

• Account Management of existing customers (mainly independent shops around the UK) to ensure repeat business and resolving any issues that may occur

• Building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying accounts that need nurturing to continually win business

• Targeting specific customers with incentives to order

• Converting enquiries to sales

• Contacting new leads

• Contacting lapsed customers to regain their business

• Producing formal processes to contact/follow up customers

• Recording all contact information in a database

• Working to targets

Essential Skills

​

• Previous account management/telesales experience essential

• Warm, friendly telephone manner – NO hard sell. This is all about the chat.

• Confident communicator

• Excellent influencing skills

• Uses own initiative and has a proactive approach

• Works well under pressure and takes immediate action to solve any problems with the best possible outcome

Part-time hours: 12 per week

 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

Part-time hours: 12 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-12pm (though we can be flexible to suit your requirements). Initially from our studio during the probationary three months, then flexible mixture of home and studio.
